When we decided which horses to use for our breeding program; we knew from experience that it had to be based on a multitude of reasons. We didn't just choose to use a horse for a particular color; because it isn't the color that gets you from point A to point B.

    Conformation & Personality; are two equally important traits. Each horse has to be willing, well mannered, sturdy, and sound; or they don't stay here. 

    Quality Pedigree; we do extensive research in the horses in each background. Occasionally you can stumble across a horse that doesn't really have a proven background, but they are phenomenal anyways. 

    Color; that's just the bonus wrapping over the TOTAL package.

    We intentionally keep our numbers down so we can keep the level of quality up to our expectations. We are concentrating our efforts to produce horses that can be competitive in the show ring; useful around the farm, and durable out on the trails.
