They're MOO'v'n on.....
We've decided to re-route our plans for Cattle. We've had awesome luck, but our time is limited and we don't feel we can dedicate the quality of time needed to make it a success. Itty Bitty and Twinkle Toe's found a home west of us in a small cow/calf operation, and Amazing Grace and Laffy Taffy will be going to a home south and west of us to a larger scale cow/calf operation. We'll miss them of course, but we can easily go visit them..... |

Amazing Grace Amazing Grace was the first heifer we brought home. She was born on 9/20/2007 and after a rough start, she has really come back strong. Grace was used as Casey's 4-H project this year in Commercial Beef Senior Heifer calf category. She received a Purple ribbon at County and a Blue ribbon at State; not bad for the FIRST year in a project! Grace is a Hereford x Angus and is not for sale..... |

Laffy Taffy Despite tons of care and handling, Taffy received a Blue ribbon. We appreciated people commenting on how badly she was judged, and just knowing that others recognized that fact makes us feel better. Casey worked hard, and her attitude was commendable. Taffy may not be going to the State Fair, but she is being purchased by someone who raises Black Herefords. Now THAT is a compliment!
